The Bucket List started back in 2017, part time on Overstrand Beach, with Head Chef Nathan Boon of a nearby hotel always wanting to start his own business. Nathan felt like this was the gap in the market he had been waiting for with the idea being inspired from long days in the kitchen and combining any of the fresh sauces or recipes that had been created, with the ever versatile chip to feed himself and the kitchen team. Combining that with a couple of trips to Europe, experiencing the emergence of street food markets.
